"AI Education Innovative Learning Conference x Solution Day" and Award Ceremony for the "Primary School Digital Education and AI Learning and Teaching Professional Exploration Community Pilot Programme"

In line with the Chief Executive’s commitment in the 2025 Policy Address to continuously promote STEAM education in primary and secondary schools, and to assist schools in effectively utilising the latest educational initiatives, the “AI for Empowering Learning and Teaching” strategy will allocate funding of $500,000 to support teachers in incorporating artificial intelligence into their teaching. Buddhist Sum Heung Lam Memorial College, in collaboration with Association of I.T. in Education, e-Learning Development Laboratory of The University of Hong Kong, and Department of Chinese Language and Literature of Hong Kong Baptist University, will jointly host the “AI Education Innovative Learning Conference x Solution Day” and the award ceremony for the “Primary School Digital Education and AI Learning and Teaching Professional Exploration Community Pilot Programme” on 13 March 2026 (Friday).

We sincerely invite you and your school’s teachers to attend and witness this significant event that promotes the future development of education. The event will also feature innovative teaching achievement display booths. Your school is welcome to organise and showcase your students’ innovative learning accomplishments, allowing for interaction and inspiration with representatives from other schools and the industry regarding future educational development directions.

Target Audience: Principals, teachers, and parents from all secondary schools, primary schools, and kindergartens in Hong Kong

Content: The event will include thematic lectures and professional training for teachers, along with exhibitions featuring The University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University, and over 20 early childhood education technology companies. These will showcase the latest AI teaching solutions covering various learning areas and school-based curricula. This initiative will assist participating primary and secondary school teachers in integrating AI into their teaching, keeping them informed of the latest trends in AI education and exploring how to effectively use artificial intelligence to enhance the quality and effectiveness of learning and teaching.

All principals and teachers attending the “AI Education Innovative Learning Conference x Solution Day” and Award Ceremony for the “Primary School Digital Education and AI Learning and Teaching Professional Exploration Community Pilot Programme” will receive an electronic training course certificate for Continuing Professional Development for Teachers, a copy of the “Sum Heung Lam Digital Education Examples and Prompt Design Guide,” and a copy of “Cross-Disciplinary” published by HKSTEM News (limited copies).
