Outstanding IT Teacher Award

To honour outstanding local teachers for their contributions to information technology education and to promote a positive campus culture, HKACE will host “IT Inspiring Teachers Day” and present the 9th Outstanding IT Teacher Award.

Purpose

  1. Acknowledge local outstanding teachers for their contributions to digital education
  2. Encourage teachers to share insights on computer and information technology education
  3. Promote a positive school culture


Nomination Process

📍Nominations for outstanding IT teachers may be submitted by IT industry professionals or school colleagues, accompanied by a short essay of about 500 to 1,000 words describing how the nominated teacher inspired, guided, and impacted them.
📍Nominees must be located in local secondary schools, primary schools, or special schools, and must be full-time teachers in the local schools during the 2025–2026 academic year.
📍Each nominator may nominate up to two teachers, and the nominated teachers must consent to the nomination.
📍Nominees are required to give consent; no resume submission is necessary.
📍The Outstanding IT Teacher Award will be presented only to teachers who have not previously received the award.
