Introduction
“The 10th Hong Kong Primary School Computational Thinking Competition” targets students in Primary 4 to 6 across Hong Kong. The aim is to promote computational thinking education by engaging students through programming and problem-solving, thereby enhancing their understanding and awareness of computational thinking. Through this initiative, students can utilise knowledge or tools to identify solutions to challenging problems, enhance their logical thinking and computer programming skills, boost creativity, and foster a spirit of collaboration.

Theme of the Preliminary Round
- Participating teams must propose solutions related to “Promoting a Healthy Lifestyle or Encouraging Physical Activity” and create a 3-minute video (in mp4 format not exceeding 300MB) or a presentation (no more than 15 slides) explaining how computational thinking and computer programming techniques (Scratch or App Inventor) can demonstrate the feasibility of their proposal.
Grand Final
- The grand final will take place in a Hackathon format (On-site challenge), with the competition topic announced on the day of the event.
- 20 final teams will participate in the Hackathon, followed by the Awards Ceremony on the same day.
- The final judging panel will consist of secondary school teachers and primary school teachers from non-participating schools.

- If the student list cannot be confirmed when submitting the application form, you may write “TBC” in the relevant fields.
- Submission of Works (Preliminary Round)
- From now until 15 April 2026 (Wednesday)
