STAR platform's new and enhanced functions:
Upload of completed assessment files as attachments by students (applicable to Speaking and Writing assessment tasks, and subject to assessment task design)
When creating papers, teachers can see whether the tasks require manual marking in search results, and whether they allow file upload as answers in task preview.
In teacher report, open-ended questions are shown as requiring manual marking – a green icon indicates that it has been marked, while an orange one indicates that it is pending marking. Teachers can click the icon to view or download student's answer, and click 'Teacher's feedback' to enter / select comments.
In individual report, students can click the marking icon to view or download their submissions and teacher's comments.

Support broadcast in Listening assessments (applicable to language subjects)
When creating papers, the paper setting of Listening tasks will have a 'Teacher to broadcast multimedia materials' option. If it is set to 'Yes', then students will not be able to play multimedia materials on their own when attempting the paper.
Teachers can use the paper preview function to access and play the multimedia materials in class; this setting can be changed after the paper is published for students to play the multimedia materials on their own if needed.
After submission or the assessment ends, students can review the multimedia materials.
View the overall percentage of correctly answered assessment items in a specific time period (in the first phase, this is applicable to assessment items under the 'Gainful Use of TSA Materials' arrangements)
Teachers can view overall correct percentage of each assessment items in papers published under 'Gainful Use of TSA 2020 materials'.
