Introduction
Organised by the Road Safety Council, fully supported by the Transport and Logistics Bureau, Education Bureau, Hong Kong Police Force, Transport Department, Highways Department, and professional institutions, and with the Hong Kong New Emerging Technology Education Association serving as the competition advisor, the "Road Safety STEAM Competition 2026-27" is now open for registration.
This competition aims to encourage primary and secondary students across Hong Kong to integrate STEAM knowledge with smart city concepts to propose innovative solutions for Hong Kong's road safety, while enhancing their road safety awareness. The competition covers four main themes: Pedestrian Safety, Educational Program for Road Safety Towns, Cycling Safety, and Inattentive Driving Prevention.
