With a view to enhancing learning and teaching effectiveness, catering for students’ learning diversity as well as strengthening Assessment for Learning and assessment literacy in an ongoing manner, the coverage of the platform has been extended progressively from Basic Competencies to Full Curriculum of Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics. The newly added “Student Self-selected Assessments” since October 2025 can further offer schools an additional effective and flexible L-T-A resource, while also providing students with more opportunities for self-learning.
The “Student Self-selected Assessments” possess the following features:

- Diversity: The assessment tasks encompass different learning strands / units of Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics, as well as a variety of themes and question types.
- Instant Feedback: Students can obtain instant assessment results / feedback (tentatively applicable to close-ended questions) upon the completion of assessment tasks. This allows students to better understand their own strengths and weaknesses, while teachers can easily track the progress and effectiveness of students’ self-selected assessments to provide guidance and support.
- Connecting Learning and Assessment: Students can make use of the assessment information / data provided on the platform to establish a personal learning record to review their learning progress, identify their personal learning needs and ways of improvement, and achieve “Self-directed Learning” gradually.
